Mahindra e-Verito electric vehicle to release on June 2

Mahindra is set all to launch its new e-Verito electric vehicle on 2nd June 2016 in the Indian market, according to the latest reports of Overdrive. The fully electric vehicle has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2012 for the first time and now, it is ready to introduce in this year. The prototype model of the e-Verito, which is the second electric vehicle from Mahindra, has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.

Mahindra Scorpio and XUV 500 petrol cars coming soon

Mahindra’s executive director, Pawan Goenka announced that the petrol variants of the popular cars, XUV 500 and Scorpio will be launched in the Indian market in this year. Now, the Mahindra KUV 100 is only offered with the petrol versions, which are available with the performance efficient 1.2L G80 engine from the mFalcon family.

Mahindra’s Q4 net profit increased by 6 % at Rs 583.73 crore

Mahindra has announced that its net profit in the fourth quarter is increased by 6 percent with the robust sales in the demanding utility vehicle segment. In the duration of January 2016 to March 2016, the company has reported the net profit at Rs. 583.73 crores. Mahindra has an increment in the net profit compared to the same period of the previous fiscal (January to March of FY 2014-15), which listed Rs. 550.56 crore of net profit.

Mahindra’s SsangYong launched India-bound Tivoli in Nepal

SsangYong has launched the India-specific Tivoli in the Nepal market and the model is to be sold through IMS Motors, SsangYong’s authorised distributor in Nepal. The South Korean company’s Tivoli is priced NPR 5,375,000 in Nepal, around Rs. 33.66 lakhs in Indian currency. The models of SsangYong Tivoli imported from the South Korean market via the CBU route.   

Mahindra TUV 300 compact SUV launched with mHAWK 100 engine

The utility vehicle maker launched the Mahindra TUV 300 with the powerful and all-new mHAWK 100 diesel engine in the local market. The powerful TUV 300 compact SUV is priced at Rs. 8.87lakh in ex-showroom of Mumbai. The new mHWAK diesel engine will be offered on the top-end variants of the TUV 300, T8 and T8 AMT. The new diesel engine will generate 100bhp or 73.5kW of power and additionally the torque improves to 240Nm from 230Nm.

2016 Mahindra Xylo to get major platform and design updates

Mahindra & Mahindra plans to widen automatic transmission portfolio in the domestic market so that it has been launched the XUV 500 W6 FWD automatic car. By observing the good acceptance of the XUV 500 automatic transmission cars, the biggest UV maker offered W6 FWD variant with the automatic gearbox. The new XUV 500 automatic car costs Rs. 14.29lakh in the ex-showroom of Mumbai.

Mahindra surpassed Tata Motors in small commercial vehicle sales

Mahindra TUV 300 gets 1.5-litre 100PS diesel engine

Mahindra, the Indian utility vehicle manufacturer has launched the TUV 300 subcompact SUV in the Indian market at the affordable price. The latest car is one of the highest selling compact SUVs in the country and available in seven different versions. The Mahindra TUV 300 is the new diesel car powered by the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which is rated as the 84 PS power at the speed of 3750 rpm and 230Nm maximum torque at 1500 rpm.
