Ashok Leyland showcases all tipper trucks in its ‘Tipper Mela’

The biggest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has inaugurated the Tipper Mela in Ranchi to showcase its all tipper trucks. The entire range of tipper trucks, starting from 4 cubic meters to 23 cubic meters capacity, displayed in Tipper Mela to show its robustness as well as high cost of ownership. First time, the company has initiated the biggest program “Tipper Mela” to exhibit its all tipper trucks at one place. Based on the model, the prices of tippers available in between Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs.

Ashok Leyland launches locally manufactured first electric bus

Ashok Leyland, the Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer has unveiled the locally designed and engineered first electric bus in the Indian market. It is the country’s first fully electric bus introduced as a Zero emission vehicle and specially created based on the Indian road and load conditions. After the introduction electric cars, this is the time of bigger vehicles that introduce in the complete electric formats.

Ashok Leyland to introduce 8-10 new LCVs in 2 to 3 years

Ashok Leyland, Hinduja Group Company, has planned to speed up its journey in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment after separation from its partner Nissan. The leading commercial vehicle manufacturer has plans to introduce the 8 to 10 new products in the next 2 to 3 years. For this project, the company will invest around Rs 400 crore.

Ashok Leyland Q1 Net Profit Increased 101 Percent

The Indian biggest commercial vehicle leader, Ashok Leyland has announced its Q1 sales reports and reported that its net profit increased to Rs. 290.78 crore in the period of April to June. It represented a growth of 101 percent compared to the year ago quarter net profit, Rs. 144.5 crore. The revenue in the first quarter of FY 2017 stood at Rs 4258.8 crore and increased by 10 percent against the revenue in the Q1 of FY 16, 3883.13 crores.

Ashok Leyland total sales rise 21% to 10,180 units

Ashok Leyland, the biggest Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, released the total sales of CVs, including the LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles) and M&HCVs (Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles). In the last month, Ashok Leyland sold 10,180 units of total vehicles in the last month and reported an increment of 20 percent from the year-ago period sales of 8,435 units.

Ashok Leyland Sales Increased 31% in March 2016

The biggest commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturer in India, Ashok Leyland, has reported the sales growth of 31% in the last month (March 2016). All segments, including light commercial vehicles and M&HCVs (trucks, buses, as well), have registered the highest sales in the previous month.

Ashok Leyland Total Sales Up 24.54% in February 2016

Ashok Leyland, the big commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has registered the growth of 24.54% with the total sales of 13,403 vehicles in February 2016.

Ashok Leyland Sales Increased In January, 40% by M&HCV, 2% by LCV

The leading CV manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, has released it overall sales structure for the last month, January 2016.  Being a commercial vehicle leader, the company has posted the 30 percent with the overall sales of 13,886 units in the previous month. In January 2015, Ashok Leyland has received 10,643 units of total sales including LCVs and M&HCVs. 

Ashok Leyland Sales Raised 31.4% in December 2015

The biggest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland announced the last month sales, which hold a growth of 31.4 percent at 12,209 units. There is around 2900 to 3000 units difference between the sales of last December and the year ago December.  Hinduja Group’s company has retailed a total sale of 9,290 units including LCVS and M&HCVS in December 2014.

Ashok Leyland Sales Increased to 16 Percent in November, 2015

Ashok Leyland, biggest commercial vehicle maker in India, posted the 16 percent growth by the total sales of 8,971 units in November, 2015. In the same month of previous year, the company has retailed 7,732 units of both light and medium & heavy commercial vehicles.
