Maruti Baleno Hatchback Receives 4,600 Bookings

Maruti Suzuki, the largest passenger carmaker in India has introduced the new premium hatchback, Baleno in the domestic market three days back.  In the first two days, the new Maruti Baleno hatchback has received 4,600 bookings, said by the official person of Maruti Suzuki. With a latest design language and the reengineering technologies, the Baleno has aimed to increase the market share by playing the key role in the premium hatchback segment.  The awesome response in terms of bookings has received from the buyers before the Baleno launch in India.

Now, Maruti Suzuki is getting record breaking bookings in the country after the launch on 26th October. On the first day, almost 1500 users visited the NEXA outlets and 600 members of them booked for the Maruti Baleno. The next day, the response from the customers has improved and more than 1200 bookings received by Maruti Suzuki.  Following the first two days, Maruti Suzuki expected that the figure of Baleno bookings will be increased in the coming days and before the Diwali festival.  Almost 3500 members visited showrooms on the second day and approximately 33 to 34 percent of them are booked the car.  The overall bookings of the Baleno are more than 4,600 units, said by R S Kalsi, ED of MSI.

Suzuki showcased the India-specific Baleno at the ongoing 2015 Tokyo Show and this product aimed to be designed for the global market. R S Kalsi said, the Baleno hatchback would be exported to the 100 global countries and the company hopes that this product improves Maruti Suzuki’s market share in the premium hatchback segment, which has 22% growth by the sales of 5.20lakh units in 2014. With the arrogant performance & features and the eye-catching body, the Baleno gives competition to the Honda Jazz and Hyundai’s Elite i20.

Maruti Suzuki has invested around Rs. 1,060 crore for the manufacturing of Baleno, which is the first product from the carmaker ever seen with the much of enormous qualities. So that it will be exported to the markets of South Africa, Japan and Europe in 2016.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the most recent hatchback available at the price range is Rs. 4.99 lakh to Rs. 8.11lakh (New Delhi Ex-showrooms) while the Baleno automatic is priced at Rs. 6.76lakh.
