Along with the updated model of Vento, Volkswagen has launched the latest special edition of Vento model in the Indian market. The special edition is designed based on the new Vento facelift and named as Volkswagen Vento Preferred. In fact, the Preferred special edition was introduced in the Indian market in 2014 to target the corporate executives.
This is an advantage for the customers, who want more features from the car. The VW Vento Preferred edition equipped with the variety of several interior and exterior features like the roof foil, alloy wheels, leather seat covers, side moulding, portable navigation system, wireless reversing camera, roof foil, as well. As per the fresh report, the special edition is designed based on the existing Vento Comfortline trim. All special accessories available individually at the authorised Volkswagen showrooms or accessory centres.
The Vento Preferred is offered in three engine options in the country. The naturally-aspirated and four-cylinder 1.6-litre MPI engine powers the special edition and develops the maximum power of 105PS and the torque of 153Nm. The 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine is linked to the 5-speed manual gearbox in the Vento special edition. The second engine of the VW Vento range is 1.2-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine, which is mated to the 7-speed DSG transmission. The engine has the capacity to generate 105PS of power and 175Nm torque.
The recently updated 1.5-litre TDI turbocharged engine is rated at 110PS of power and the torque of 250Nm and paired to either 5-speed MT or 7-speed DSG transmission box. The Preferred edition of the Volkswagen Vento is attractively priced and available at the Volkswagen dealerships.
