Audi, the German carmaker interested in offering the new luxury cars in the Indian market to create the strong environment and target Mercedes-Benz. It was reported that the four Audi cars to be introduced by the next year end in the luxury car segment. Of which, the three models, A4, A3 facelift and A5 Sportback to be introduced in this fiscal. The domestic unit of Audi has already imported the vehicles to test them in the Indian environment. The most awaited models, compromising facelifts and upgraded versions, to be featured the world-class specifications for the domestic customers.
New Audi A4:
The next-generation Audi A4 is one of the much-awaited models confirmed for the Indian market and it gets the cosmetic upgrades along with the stylish interior and exterior features. The premium A4 car is around 25mm longer than the existing model and also its wheelbase is 12mm longer. The company featured the matrix LED headlamps, renovated front grille, LED daytime running lights and larger air intakes. The company will launch its Audi A4 with two engine options, the petrol versions offered with the 1.8-litre TFSI engine while the diesel car is to be powered by the 2.0-litre TDI engine. The model has been already spotted for performance testing in the Indian market and the versions to be imported to India from the Audi’s home market.

New Audi A3 facelift:
The A3 facelift is officially revealed one month back in the global market and the product is to be available with the multiple features. The Indian-specific Audi A3 comes with the 1.4-ltre petrol engine with two output performances, one is rated at 123bhp power with 200Nm and another one is available at 148bhp power with 250Nm torque. The foremost changes applied to the next-generation Audi A3 facelift are the new headlamp cluster, redesigned front grille, Matrix LED headlights as optional (standard Bi-xenon lights), as well.

Audi A5 Sportback:
The production based version of the Audi A5 Sportback has been tested by Audi India and it will be developed based upon the new MLB2 platform. It will be lighter than its previous model and featured the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that generates 187bhp of maximum power and 400Nm torque. The advanced Quattro all-wheel drivetrain will be featured on the top-end versions.

Expected price: Rs. 55 to 60 lakh
The Audi SQ7 will be the powerful sport utility vehicle from the luxury carmaker and integrated with the 4.0-litre V8 engine that is rated at the power output of 429bhp. It is mostly similar to the Audi Q7 and additionally available with the styling features. The upcoming Audi car will come to the Indian market via the CBU route and compete with the newly launched models, Bentley Bentayga and Land Rover Range Rover SVR.
