Second-Generation 2018 Audi Q3 Spotted with MQB Platform

The second generation Audi Q3 2018 spotted on the road with an uncovered exterior and the sporty model expected to arrive in 2018 in the global market.  But, the sources suggested that it may launch in the second-half of the 2017 and arrives in the Audi showrooms in 2018. The 2018 Audi Q3 seems to be getting the design sketches from the concept of Audi e-tron Quattro. The next-generation Q3 car to be based on the MQB platform, which is to be implemented in the upcoming 2016 VW Tiguan that was recently showcased  in Tokyo at the 2015 motor show.

The 2018 Audi Q3 length and wheelbase will be increased by 4.99 to 4.45 meters and 2.60 to 2.65 metres respectively, while the current Audi Q3 measures the length of 4385mm, width of 1831mm, height of 1608mm and wheelbase of 2603mm. The same 5-seating capacity will be planned for the next generation Q3 but, the new Tiguan extended version comes with the 7-seating capacity. 

The 2016 VW Tiguan and the Audi A4 models expected to share its interior features and the design of cabin to the 2018 Audi Q3.  The facelift of the Audi Q3 launched in the month of June, 2015 with the minimal exterior changes against the previous Audi Q3, introduced in 2012 in India.  Now, the new model of Audi Q3 is rendering with the most advanced features and high ability engines to give the maximum efficiency.

The current India-specific Audi 35 TDI premium gives 174bhp at 4200rpm of power and 380Nm at 1750rpm of torque so that the 2018 Audi Q3 to be injected with the high transmissions along with the engines to give maximum outputs like might be 220bhp. It is likely to get the 2.0 TDI, 2.0 TSI and 1.4 TSI engines with four-cylinder capacities. Like the new Audi models, it is likely to get the Virtual Cockpit display, all-zone air conditioner, the power assisted multi-spoke steering wheel, 6 airbags , Electronic stability program (ESP), brake assist, the traction control system, etc.

In India, the available prices of the Audi Q3 30 TDI TSI is Rs. 28.88lakh, the Q3 35 TDI Premium is Rs. 33.99lakh and the Q3 35 TDI Premium Plus is 37.50lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

Apart from this, Audi has started its preparations to launch the Audi Q7 facelift in the domestic market for the Diwali festival.
