The Vitara Brezza is the second highest selling model in the compact SUV segment and the fresh reports suggested that its waiting period extended to nine months in India. Based on the versions and the place, the waiting period of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is to be varied. The higher versions ZDI (O) and ZDi+ versions will receive around nine months waiting period in some of the cities, according to the report from Autocar Professional. The basic versions LDi, LDi (O), VDi and VDi (O) are under the waiting period of seven months.
More than 50 percent of the total bookings were for the high-end versions, according to the sales report of Maruti Suzuki in the previous months. The new customers, who booked the Brezza vehicles, will wait for more than six to 9 months. The company is most probably to deliver the vehicles by the end of this year, based on the new statements.
This is the second best-selling SUV in the last month after the Hyundai Creta and overtaken the Mahindra’s popular SUV, Bolero. It is the 5-seater SUV received 5,563 units of sales in the month of March 2016 and 7,832 units in April 2016. Now, the company has received more than 70,000 bookings in the country with its unique and attractive structure.

To overcome this, the company downsized the production capacity of the popular models, Swift hatchback and Swift Dzire.
The compact SUV is available in diesel versions, which are powered by the 1248cc 200 DDiS engine that develops the higher outputs of 88.5bhp power at the maximum speed of 4,000rpm and 200Nm torque at 1750 rpm. It is one of the fuel-efficient car with ARAI certified mileage of 24.3kmpl. The SUV costs Rs. 6.99 lakh (Ex-showroom) on the base variant.
