The German manufacturer Volkswagen has already confirmed that the production of the VW Tiguan XL 2017 model (three-row variant) is to be started in Mexico. The next-gen Tiguan is likely to enter the competitive auto market as a global product with the world-class design and engineering standards. The reports indicated that Volkswagen has been tested the three-row variant for the first time in China. The spotted images of the upcoming Volkswagen car (Tiguan crossover) have been published by AutoHome. But, few reports indicated that the spotted model will be the production prototype of the VW CrossBlue concept, which has been disclosed at the 2013 International Auto Show in North America.
By watching the images, the car bloggers reported that it will be the Chinese-specific 2016 VW Tiguan model, which has longer wheelbase than the 2016 European-specific VW Tiguan. The SAIC Volkswagen alliance is to be manufactured and distributed the all-new Chinese-specific VW Tiguan in China and the model is to be available in 5, 6 and 7-seat configurations.
Whatever the model it is no problem, the versions of the next-gen VW Tiguan are introduced in the multiple markets. The second-gen VW Tiguan’s three-row variant will be launched in the next year, a report has been announced by Volkswagen. The extended version, VW Tiguan XL will be manufactured at the company’s production facility in Puebla, Mexico. In a month, the Volkswagen plant will be produced 14,000 to 15,000 units of Tiguan, 500 units on the daily basis.
Volkswagen will export the three-row VW Tiguan to the North and South American markets as well as other markets (China and the European Union markets will be excluded) from Mexico.
