The new Vitara Brezza is the upcoming car from the car leader Maruti Suzuki and the model has been made its introduction at the 2016 Auto Expo. Now, the new Brezza is under production and the car is expected to be available in at least seven different colors. The model has snapped in different exterior shades including Blue, Red, Gold and White.
Earlier, the teaser image and the brochures containing specifications of the Brezza have been disclosed. According to that, the new Maruti car is expected to be offered in six versions in the domestic market. Three are the basic trims, LDi, VDi and ZDi and the top variants of Vitara will get the features like projector headlights with LED DRLs,16-inch alloy wheels, silver skid plates, high-quality fabric seats, as well.
Initially, the diesel versions of Vitara Brezza are to be launched in the country and all variants will be equipped with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. All are the manual versions will be integrated by the standard 5-speed manual gearboxes and drive system. The diesel engine has the capability to develop the outputs of 90PS power and 200Nm torque. Based on the sources, the petrol versions of Vitara Brezza are to be confirmed by Maruti Suzuki for the global market. The company is considering the fuel-efficient GDI petrol engine for the Brezza and the India launch of the petrol versions will be commenced later.

- The project about Vitara Brezza has been started by the company in mid-2011 and it is the Maruti Suzuki’s first sub-compact SUV.

Pre-bookings for the new Brezza have been opened by the Maruti dealers at Rs. 21,000 in India and it will be launched in the next month with the expected ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 7-10lakhs. The Brezza will receive the competition from the existed compact SUVs like Mahindra TUV 300 and Ford EcoSport.
Maruti Suzuki has announced that the Brezza will be sold via the regular Maruti outlets in India instead of the premium NEXA network. When it will be launched in the global markets not yet decided by the company but, the models will be exported from the country only to markets in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In this year, some of the cars including Baleno RS, Ignis (sub-compact crossover SUV), Swift AMT and Wagon R (7-Seater MPV) will be launched along with the Brezza.
