The Indian carmaker has already introduced its exciting car, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, in this calendar year and now, it plans to introduce two new cars, Baleno RS and Ignis crossover in the coming festival months in the Indian market. The company is currently working on both new models to target its segment-based models, as per the reports. Actually, the two cars made their debuts in India at the stage of the 2016 Delhi Show.
Maruti Baleno RS:
Maruti Suzuki specially introduced the petrol versions with the 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine in the global markets. The fresh reports suggested that it will be introduced as the Baleno RS in the domestic market to increase the car range as well as boost up the sales. It will familiar as a performance based car with the increased output. Except the mechanical specifications, the total design of the upcoming car will be identical to the existing Indian-specific Baleno. Here is no news whether the Baleno RS will feature the special features or not. But, it is confirmed that the Baleno RS will be influenced the hatchback segment to get high percentage growth in this year. Moreover, it will cost a little bit higher than the existing models.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis:
Ignis is the much-awaited compact crossover from the largest car maker and expected to be featured the new platform. In India, it will be offered in both fuel types, manual and automatic versions. The compact crossover will get the CVT gearbox sourced from the Baleno instead of the automatic manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki is developing the Ignis to target the Mahindra KUV 100 and the compact crossovers in the passenger car market. The Ignis will be the third product in the Nexa range, after Baleno and S-Cross crossover.
