The upcoming 2016 Auto Expo is to host the multiple companies for showcasing their new production-ready products as well as models. It is the biggest auto show in India to be held in Greater Noida in the first week of February 2016. The event will be inaugurated at the India Expo Mart and the exhibitor’s list consist of the vehicle manufacturers along with the automotive design companies, oil companies, tyres and tubes companies, auto insurance companies, financial institutions, as well. Most of the automotive companies including Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Audi, as well to attend the show but, Bajaj Motorcycles, Skoda Auto India, Volvo and some of the companies missing from the Auto Expo exhibitor’s list.
Pre-online bookings for the show have already opened and there is an availability to get the tickets on the spot at the Expo Mart. The people who book the tickets for the Auto Expo are to be received them through courier with free of cost.
2016 Auto Expo-The Motor Show will be held from 5th to 9th February 2016 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR in India.
2016 Auto Expo-Components Show will be commenced in the period of 4th to 7th February 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in India.
Following is the list of car manufacturers and their models to be previewed at 2016 Noida Show.
Mahindra & Mahindra:
Being an Indian manufacturer, Mahindra is one of the exhibitors to showcase its new small car model that is codenamed as S101 and the facelift of Mahindra Quanto at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Mahindra KUV 100/S101: Mahindra’s much-awaited model is to be built based on the monocoque chassis and it is the first car will be offered by the company’s first petrol engine of 1.2-litre. Its domestic market launch will happen in either January or February 2016.
Mahindra Canto/Quanto Facelift: The automotive sources indicated that the Mahindra Quanto facelift, which could be known as Canto that is likely to receive the TUV 300’s mHawk80 diesel engine with two gearbox options such as five-speed manual and automatic manual transmission.
Ssangyong Tivoli: M&M owned Ssangyong to showcase the updated model of Tivoli that is to be offered by the advanced engines, might be the 1.6-litre petrol engine returning the 126.2bhp and 160Nm.
Maruti Vitara Brezza (YBA): The model has been spied partially in the market but, it is readying to show its full profile at the 2016 Auto Expo. The model is to feature with the Suzuki iV-4 concept that consists of design elements like LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps.
Maruti Ignis: The sub-compact model of Maruti Suzuki, Ignis to be designed with the new-generation platform and four-wheel drivetrain. Following the company’s models, this model will be employed with the mild hybrid technology of SHVS.
The German carmaker also makes its entry with the Noida motor show with around 5 models.
VW Polo GTI: The updated model of Polo GTI is to attend the upcoming auto expo which is powered by the 1.8-litre TSI turbocharged engine that delivers 187bhp and 320Nm. The GTI comes with the standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, electronic differential lock, as well.
VW Compact Sedan/ Ameo: The Indian VW compact sedan could be known as the VW Ameo that depends on the Polo platform. In addition, the model comes with the 1.2-litre TSI engine that gives the power of 75bhp.
Other models from Volkswagen are the 2016 VW Tiguan and 2016 VW Passat.
Audi India is likely to showcase the two new models including 2016 Audi A4 and 2016 Audi R8, which will be released in the domestic market by the end of this year.
2016 Audi A4: Developed based on the MLB Evo platform and the new A4 reduces its overall weight by 120kgs. It features the phonebox with wireless charging, Virtual Cockpit, Matrix LED headlights, as well.
2016 Audi R8: It is the second generation model designed based on the advanced spaceframe construction along with the mild engine platform.
