The Indian carmaker has confirmed that the new compact SUV, Vitara Brezza has reported more than 1lakh units of sales in the Indian market. It is the first car in the country certified to offset and crash tests.
The compact SUV has introduced at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in the month of February 2016 and after around one month, it has been launched in March 2016 in the utility vehicle segment. The Vitara Brezza model was conceptualised, sketched and developed for the Indian customers and offered in diesel variants only.
The design team of Maruti is perfectly designed the compact SUV according to the Indian roads and environment with the standard and advanced equipment. It does not only feature the good structure and design layouts but also offered with the fuel-efficient diesel engine to generate the maximum output.
Being a Maruti car, the Brezza is featured the four-cylinder, 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that sends 66kW of power to the wheels through the standard 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel engine returns 200 Nm of torque at 1,750rpm.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza measures 3995mm, 1790mm and 1640mm of length, width and height respectively. Speaking about the equipment, it features the 16-inch alloy wheels, 2,500mm wheelbase and both projector headlamps and tail lamps with “Bull Horn LED light guides”. Moreover, the utility vehicle available with the touchscreen-featured Smartplay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Mirror Link and navigation. Safety is the crucial for nowadays so that it comes with the dual airbags at the front side for driver and co-passenger and ABS with EBD.
As of now, it is offered in diesel options but, the rumours around in the PV market is the company plans to launch petrol and automatic versions in the coming months. The Vitara Brezza is also available in dual-tone exterior colour along with the monotone colours.
