Mahindra KUV 100 launches in Nepal in April 2016

Mahindra’s very new and popular car in the country is the KUV 100, which will launch in one of the neighbor countries, Nepal in the Month of April 2016, based on the report from the Himalayan Times. Following the Mahindra cars, it will be sold through the authorized distributor of Mahindra Vehicles is Agni Incorporated in Nepal.

With the caption of young SUV, the Mahindra KUV 100 has been launched on 15th January 2016 in the country and now it will be made its launch in Nepal, which is the one of the company’s strong overseas markets. It is offered in the country with the reasonable starting price tag of Rs. 4.42lakhs (Ex-showroom). Mr Pravin Shah, president of Mahindra, confirmed that it will be introduced in all Mahindra’s strong networks in next two one to two months.

Attractive body design, new mFalcon engines, high specifications, either 5-seater or 6-seater interior and micro hybrid system on the high-end variant are the strong points featured by the Mahindra KUV100. Based on the seating capacity, fuel type, airbags and other features, the KUV 100 is categorized into a total of 23 versions of K2 to K8 base trims.

Developed using the platform of front-wheel drive, it is offered with the two mFalcon 1.2-litre G80 petrol and D75 diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 82bhp of power and 115Nm of torque whereas the diesel engine generates 77bhp and 190Nm outputs. Besides, the generated power is distributed to the wheels with the standard 5-speed manual gearbox. The mileage returned by the KUV 100 is rated at 25.32kmpl on the diesel versions and 18.15kmpl on the petrol versions.

With the high demand, the model is currently under the waiting period of two months in the domestic market based on the color and version. Following the Mahindra cars, the compact SUV crossover comes with the different exterior shades, which are similar to the colors like orange, yellow, white, blue and brown. The production capacity of the KUV 100 at the Chakan plant will be increased to 12,000 units for a month from 9,000 units.
