Mahindra’s automotive plant in Haridwar, Uttarakhand has achieved a benchmark of 7 lakh units of vehicles in production in less than 10 years. The plant has achieved 6lakh units of production in the month of November, 2014 and after it has taken 10 months of time to reach the production of 7 lakh vehicles. It is great news for Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading SUV automaker in India and the plant has continually achieved the production excellence. The recognition has credited by the company with the straightforward effort of each and every employee in the plant. With this credit, the plant has improved itself by the accepting spirit and the commitment of new products production. To get more accolades, this achievement is a stepping stone for Haridwar Plant, said Pravin Shah, M&M President and Automotive Chief Executive.
At Haridwar plant, the company has currently manufacturing the Scorpio S2, Bolero, the passenger and load products like Alfa and Gio and other Mahindra products. The Plant has opened by Mahindra in December 2015 and earned positive kind of credits in the production from the past two years. Now it has placed in the high production capacity list among the other Mahindra’s automotive plants. Across India, the company (Mahindra) has many automotive plants but it is only the production plant inaugurated in Northern place. Moreover, the kandivali automotive plant of Mahindra has achieved 50th lack vehicles production in the month of January, 2015.
As we know, the automotive sector of Mahindra is the all-range player with the presence of production of the vehicles in all segments such as L&M&H commercial vehicles, 3-wheelers, utility vehicles, sedans and electrical vehicles. At automotive plants, Mahindra has been providing the word-class and multiple automotive manufacturing facilities to constantly set a bench mark in the production.
