The automatic cars of Mahindra XUV 500 introduced with the Aisin-made 6-speed AT gearbox in the domestic market and which is the closest rival of Hyundai Creta AT. Here is the comparison of XUV 500 AT with the Hyundai Creta AT in terms of versions, performance, and specifications.  

Versions & Drive train:

The Mahindra XUV 500 automatic has offered in three variants, including W8, W10 AT, and W10 AWD AT whereas the Hyundai Creta automatic is available in single variant is 1.6 SX Plus Auto. One of the XUV 500 automatic versions features the all-wheel drive train system whereas the Creta automatic is designed based on the standard FWD.

Engine Specifications & Performance:

Both automatic variants of two sport utility vehicles are the diesel variants that are powered by the turbocharged engines with the options of four-cylinders.  The 2.2-litre mHawk engine powers the XUV 500 automatic is returning the 140bhp (142PS) of power at 3,750rpm and the 330Nm of torque at 1600 to 2800rpm. The Hyundai Creta automatic available with the 1.6-litre CRDi is producing the 126bhp (128PS) of power at 4000 rpm and 265Nm of torque at 1900 rpm.

The XUV 500 returns the ARAI certified economy of 13.85kmpl on the FWD models and 16kmpl on the AWD model with Aisin-made 6-speed AT gearbox whereas the Creta automatic returns 17.01/kmpl with 6-speed automatic gearbox.
