Ashok Leyland Sales Increased In January, 40% by M&HCV, 2% by LCV

The leading CV manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, has released it overall sales structure for the last month, January 2016.  Being a commercial vehicle leader, the company has posted the 30 percent with the overall sales of 13,886 units in the previous month. In January 2015, Ashok Leyland has received 10,643 units of total sales including LCVs and M&HCVs. 

Its M&HCV (Medium & heavy CV) sales surged 40 percent last month and stood at 11,208 units and the company sold 8,009 units in January 2015. The company’s LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) segment posted the 2 percent marginal growth with the sales of 2,678 units, compared to 2,634 units in the same month of previous year.

Sales of December 2015 Vs January 2016:

In December 2015, the company has recorded 31.1 percent with the overall sales structure of 12,209 units. In January 2016, it has high sales with 13,886 units but the company has a growth of 30 percent.

Ashok Leyland Fiscal Year Sales:

Coming to the overall sales in the duration of this fiscal year (Apr-2015 to Jan-2016), the company has reported the highest double-digit growth of 36 percent with 110,349 units against 81,386 units in the same duration of the previous fiscal. Its M&HCV segment has obtained the 44% growth with the maximum sales whereas the LCV segment has 12 percent growth in this fiscal.

Of course, the sales figures of Ashok Leyland in the last month are good but, the company gets the slow sales with the SC’s order is the registration ban of heavy diesel vehicles, which release more pollutants, in the NCR and Delhi regions. Its M&HCV sales are to be reached with a sales mark of 12,000 units and the existed tippers, buses and trucks are Ecomet tipper 1012, U-truck-U-2523T 6x4 tipper, BOSS, BOSS 912 LE, 2516IL, LYNX BS3, as well.
