VW Group to initiate vehicle recall in India due to emission scandal

The Volkswagen Group has decided to recall its cars in the Indian market due to the biggest Volkswagen emission scandal, which was raised nine months back in the worldwide. The several markets have been already received the recall from the German carmaker and finally, the Indian market has scheduled for the recall after nine months.

Volkswagen has released the teaser images of the electric car concept ahead of the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen Polo Allstar comes to India soon

Autocar India reported that the special edition of the Volkswagen Polo hatchback, alias Volkswagen Polo Allstar to launch in the Indian market soon. The new edition has been showcased for the first time in the international market in December 2015 to promote the football tournament of 2016 UEFA European Championship. The total 10 models of Volkswagen, including Polo Allstar, has been showcased in the event of football tournament.

Volkswagen Polo Sedan AllStar unveiled in Russia

Volkswagen Russia has been introduced the limited edition of Volkswagen Polo Sedan with the basic price tag of 5,99,500 rubles (Rs. 6.3 Lakhs). The limited edition is named as the VW Polo Sedan AllStar, which will be called as Vento AllStar in the Indian market. The special edition is expected to be offered in the three grades, Comfortline, Trendline and Highline.

Volkswagen to reveal new electric vehicle at the Paris Motor Show

A few months back, Volkswagen has declared that the company is planning to launch 30 new electric vehicles by the end of 2025. Now, the sources indicated that one of the EV range models is to attend the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The German carmaker’s upcoming model, Vento Highline Plus has been tested and the captured images indicated that the car features the LED headlights with the daytime running lights. MotorBeam has captured the images of VW Vento Highline Plus, which receives exterior design and major interior features from the existing Vento Highline model.  

Volkswagen India sales increased to 6.75% in July 2016

Volkswagen India has announced its sales reports of the last month and stated that the company has an increment of 6.75 percent with sales of 4.301 units. Volkswagen, the German based carmaker sold 4,029 units in the same month of the previous year.
