Volkswagen launched Polo Crest, Vento Crest, Ameo Crest editions in India

Volkswagen India, the domestic unit of German auto giant, has launched the limited edition of the existing VW models, Polo, Vento and Ameo. The limited editions named as VW Polo Crest, Vento Crest and Ameo Crest, which are available at the authorised Volkswagen showrooms with monthly EMI of Rs. 10,999, Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively.

Volkswagen Beetle facelift to launch in India in 2017

Volkswagen has launched the new generation Beetle in the Indian market and now the German auto giant plans to introduce the Beetle facelift in the country. The current generation models came to India via the CBU route and priced at Rs. 28.73lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The VW Beetle facelift will come to India in 2017, but the exact period is yet to be revealed.

All Volkswagen Polo and Vento versions get dual airbags and ABS

Volkswagen, the German car company has announced that all variants of the VW Polo and Vento get the standard safety features of Antilock Braking System and dual airbags. Both Volkswagen cars with the standard features are available with the all authorised Volkswagen dealerships in the country.

Volkswagen India imported Passat 1.6 TDI for R&D

Volkswagen India is planning to bring its Passat brand back to the Indian market by the next year and the company has already started the testing of the vehicle in the country. The carmaker is considering both diesel versions and the hybrid version of the Passat GTE for the Indian market. Around two months back, the automaker has imported the diesel version of the Passat, which is available with the 2.0-litre TDI engine.

2017 Volkswagen Polo GT TDI to get Ameo’s 1.5L 110PS TDI engine

Based on the new reports, the upcoming 2017 Volkswagen Polo GT TDI will power by the 1.5-litre 110PS TDI engine, which is used in the Volkswagen Ameo. The same turbodiesel engine was also introduced in the Volkswagen Vento and rated at 110 PS of power at 4000 rpm and the torque of 250Nm at the frequency range from 1500 to 3000rpm.

New Volkswagen Passat GT Concept Revealed

The German carmaker has been revealed the Volkswagen Passat GT concept, which is developed for the US. The newly conceptualised model, Passat GT has been showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and currently, it may debut at the ongoing LA (Los Angeles) motor show.

Volkswagen Polo GTI available in India at Rs. 25.99 Lakhs

The performance based version of the regular Volkswagen Polo hatchback, named as the Volkswagen Polo GTI is available in the Indian market at Rs. 25.99 Lakhs in Delhi ex-showrooms. The Polo GTI has launched in the first week of November 2016 with 99 limited units and offered in three-door variant only.

Volkswagen launched Polo AllStar edition in India

The German car company, Volkswagen has launched the Polo AllStar edition at the opening price of Rs. 7.51lakhs in ex-showroom of Mumbai. The VW Polo AllStar edition has already showcased at the 2016 Geneva show for the celebration of the 2016 UEFA championship. The exterior of the Polo AllStar is finished in Blue Silk color, which was exclusively offered to the Volkswagen Ameo compact sedan.
