Maruti Suzuki to discontinue the Celerio diesel in India

Based on the report from the Economic Times, the Indian carmaker is planning to slowly discontinue the 800cc diesel engine from the segment of passenger cars. Currently, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio is available with the 800cc diesel engine, which is the first one in the diesel engine family. The Indo-Japanese car maker has developed this small diesel engine for the passenger car market without any help from others.

Maruti Ignis spied on Delhi roads with black alloys

According to YouTube video, the Maruti Ignis has been spotted for the performance testing on the New Delhi roads with the black colored alloy wheels. The small crossover has announced for the Indian market at the 2016 Auto Expo and will reportedly launch in the festival month of November 2016. The carmaker will enter the new segment with the Ignis crossover and also rival with the existing smallest car, Mahindra KUV 100.

Seven new Maruti cars to launch in India by 2017

The India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki to launch at least seven new Maruti cars in the Indian market by the end of the next year, according to Economic Times. The list of Marui cars will be available with the high range of design, platforms, equipment and features, which meet the next generation customer’s requirements.

Maruti Suzuki accounts 12.3% growth in domestic sales in August 2016

The Indian leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has accounted for 12.3 percent of sales increment in the domestic market in August 2016. The company sold a total of 1,19,931 units in the country in the last month as against  the year-ago period sales of 1,06,781 units. Maruti Suzuki’s export market in August 2016 is good and registered 10.8 percent year-on-year increment with 12,280 vehicles.
